The crews – When bathtubs show what's in a region

Okay, there are moments when you feel: Something special is happening here. No big fanfare, no empty talk – but real togetherness. July 19, 2025 will be such a moment. When the tubs are released again in Plau am See, it's not just about splashing around. It's about the heart of this city. And about the people they bring to life.

The Bathtub Rally 2.0 – a feeling of home on the water.

She's back. The legendary bathtub rally. With new momentum, but the same spirit as back then: creative, courageous, handmade. What swings over the Elde here is not a show - this is living regional history. And a clear "yes" to the future that we are shaping together.

Those who ride along show attitude. Those who watch show solidarity.

This year's crews could hardly be more colorful. No one drives alone here - here people push, paddle, cheer. And by people who have both feet on the ground:

  • Andre Schröder + Crew,
  • the Ganzlin distillery,
  • Christina Golitrz,
  • Daniel Rose,
  • Dirk Tast,
  • The Bull family,
  • Moritz Grabow family,
  • The Schuldt family from Zislow,
  • Oscar Klöpping,
  • Laetitia Erdmann,
  • Maximilian Brüngel,
  • Hendrik and his team,
  • the KiJuZ,
  • the Freilust initiative,
  • the municipality of Ganzlin including the fire brigade,
  • the diving school Plau,
  • Thomas Leppin with the barn team,
  • Udo Pries + Crew,
  • the CDU Plau,
  • the Plau town hall and even the Lübz town hall,
  • Plauer FC,
  • the Plauer Sailing Club,
  • Plauer SV Handball (1st Men)

and – yes really – the city of Plön from Schleswig-Holstein.

This is not just a list of participants. This is a reflection of cohesion.

This is where families meet companies, communities meet sports clubs, cities meet neighboring villages. Plau is opening up – not only geographically, but humanly. Good afternoon, diversity. Thank you for joining us.

Please bring your voices with you – to cheer, marvel, laugh.

Because those who take part here give something of themselves. And those who watch give something back: energy, applause, a good feeling. That's exactly what makes this day so special. No stage, no competition. But: We. Together. In the water and around it.

Goodbye, everyday life – welcome, Plauer summer moment.

The Bathtub Rally 2.0 is not a spectacle. It is a sign. For a region that knows where it comes from – and where it wants to go. For doers, enablers and people who prefer to act rather than chat.

So come by. Check it out. Or jump right in.
Because the following applies here: If you can play with water, you can also move the world with ideas.
Nice – and see you soon on the shore.
