Hello, dear people. Some days are simply made for remembering. And some for making something new. July 19, 2025 will be both. A day to laugh, marvel, participate - here with us in Plau am See. Right in the heart of the Lake District, where the clocks tick differently – not slower, but more real.
The bathtub floats again - and with it our hearts.
What once arose from a beer idea on the Elde is now returning to the stage of life: the Plauer Bathtub Rally. Not as a show, but as a real homeland piece. As a wet dream with a foam head. As a festival for all those who prefer to participate rather than complain.
And when the self-made tubs plough through our water as if there were no tomorrow – yes, then Plau is not only a backdrop, but a stage for togetherness. With algae in their shoes, with pride in their eyes – and with real applause from the shore.
NDR MV Summer Party 2025 – We have guests. And a lot of heart.
After the splashing fun, the action continues: From 5 p.m., the NDR MV Summer Party will ignite the next level on the Plauer Marktplatz. Stefan Kuna, Frauke Rauner, Marc Angerstein – they are all there. And they bring music, atmosphere and the good old NDR warmth with them.
The band "Billy Rock" hits the sides, Sesame Street says "Hello" and NDR cult dancer Heinz Galling shows how to land fish and fans. And for the little ones? Romping, playing, marveling – it's all there. Thanks to the State Sports Association!
A day for Plau. A day for all of us.
The best part: free admission. The invitation is open - for Plauer, guests, friends, neighbors. For the curious who are interested in more than everyday life. For people who know: A smile is the best language in the world. And sometimes one day is enough to show how much is possible when you work together.
The city task even brings something good: 1000 euros for a social cause, provided by Lotto Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. So if you think fun and meaning don't go together, you haven't been to us yet.
